With the change in weather and rough seas it’s a good time to look inland to do your diving. This massive man-made lake in Khao Sok has some of the most unique diving in Thailand with beautiful scenery to enjoy too. Diving along huge underwater cliffs that extend from depths of 30 to 40 meters and old tree tops that float below the surface, then off into the murky depths with giant catfish, caverns and even a sunken village are all under the waters of this vast lake. This can be quite specialised diving therefore please make sure you have the right training before you dive.
Located just over 90 minutes from Khao Lak, the official name of the lake is Rajaprabha artificial which was completed in 1982.
